I received my associates of science degree in Allied Health from Dyersburg State Community College in May 1994.  I received my bachelors of science-Biology degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin in May 1998.  I received my masters degree in Education from Union University in August 2002.


I have twenty years of teaching experience.  I began my teaching career at Crockett County Middle School where I taught seventh grade science and reading for four years.  I taught sixth grade math, sixth grade science, and seventh grade social studies for one year at Newbern Grammar School.  I taught eighth grade science for twelve years at Northview Middle School. I am currently teaching seventh grade science.  I also serve as one of the FCA sponsors, the seventh grade team leader, the athletic director and KEYS site director at Northview Middle School. 


My name is Chastity Turnbow.  I am the seventh grade science teacher at Northview Middle School.  I am married to Jimmy Turnbow and we have been married for nineteen years.  We have two sons.  Braden is twelve years old and Noah is nine years old.  We attend church at First Baptist Church-Dyersburg.  Our family enjoys sports.  My favorite teams are the Cincinnati Reds, Indianapolis Colts, and the Tennessee Volunteers.  I enjoy reading when I have spare time.  My favorite authors are Nicholas Sparks and Karen Kingsbury.
