Welcome to the Dyer County Schools website. All of our district and school information can be found here.  Our school system strives to be the best we can be.  The secret to our success is actually no secret at all. We have strong community ties and each of our schools is family oriented, which enables our students to persevere into life past graduation and to obtain the tools necessary to become lifelong learners.

Student academics are our main focus!  We want our students and teachers to continue to grow. Opportunities for learning are provided to all.  Students and teachers are provided continuous opportunities to enhance their learning.  Students at DCHS are offered Advanced Placement, Honors, and Dual Enrollment classes.  Dyer County teachers are provided continuous professional development on the district and State level.  As a result of these opportunities, the Dyer County School System routinely ranks in the top 15% of student academics in all testing categories in the state of Tennessee.

Innovative subject areas of learning are a staple of our school system.  Dyer County Schools is incorporating STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) at all grade levels.  DCHS is offering elective classes in STEM, Three Oaks Middle School and Northview Middle School are continuing to improve the STEM programs offered to all their students, and elementary level students will have access to a traveling science lab, “#STEAMBUS”.  Great things are happening in the Dyer County Schools.

Students in Dyer County Schools can make their dreams a reality.  Students attend national competitions in a variety of categories, such as  FFA, National Quiz Bowl, HOSA, Co-Ed Cheer, and sports.  Students are able to excel in an assortment of sports, which consistently compete at state level.

The Dyer County School System believes in successfully educating ALL students. Our school system is a special place.  Once a Choctaw always a Choctaw!
